Virginia's Foundation Blocks for Early Learning
Because the years between birth and five are so crucial in your child's development, we strive to provide meaningful learning experiences for your child. For their cognitive and intellectual development, we use these Foundation Blocks for Early Learning as guidelines for our program. Developed by educators throughout our state and prepared by the Virginia Department of Education, this attempts to provide an overview of the knowledge and skills deemed necessary for four year olds to be successful in kindergarten.
